Another late update…
My PET Scan the other wk showed multiple new lesions in my lungs and new stuff in my bones. I still get my full spine mri next wk but it’s safe to say that it’s worse.
Plan is to switch treatment (we knew this from the brain mri). We talked about switching to carbo and gemzar, both IV chemos. Carbo worked well for me before so fingers crossed. Not sure when this will start and when it will be, on 2 wks off 2 wks, so on and so on. I will update once I know.
La Quinta was a blast. I got to see my friend Amy and her husband Dima!! They are great people. They drove up 1.5 hrs from San Diego to visit for the day. It was a much needed “catch up” session. My brother leaves shortly then my sister arrives later today. Good times to come!
