Overdue…

Once again it has been too long from my last post. Things have been going well. I finish radiation on Tuesday and it has helped with the pain which was the goal. The next big event is my vocal cord surgery next Monday 3/22. Not expecting any issues. It is a same day surgery so I’ll be in and out in one day. I was told that I was the first case and to be there at 6am. That’s good, I don’t have to sit around all day starving. The procedure itself is quick and then they will keep me in recovery for 1-2 hours max. I’m guessing I will want soft, liquid foods following. Sh–, I should have my the Tomato Bisque that I made this week, next week. Oh well…

The weather here has been nice for a few days, rain and windy for a few days. Back and forth. Looks like rain tomorrow and next weekend, then it looks nice. Who knows!? The weather here changes day by day. I can’t complain though.

We had a nice day today. We took a long walk around the neighborhood, which I am so glad that I am still able to do. Can’t do super long walks, I get too winded. I just bought this stuff called, Boost Oxygen, they sell it at CVS and a few other places. The site claims it is “portable 95% pure supplemental oxygen for all-natural respiratory support”. They sell 4 different sizes. My thought was to carry that instead of my portable O2 tank. I’ll keep you all posted my review!!

Looking forward to next month when we go to La Quinta (Palm Springs area). We usually go every March but this year I had too much going on this month so next month it is. Plus it is my birthday month!!
