Hi Everyone, this is Kelly (Jen’s sister-in-law). I wanted to give you an update on Jen’s week. Before reading this, know that everything is better now….
On Tuesday, Jen went for her daily walk and didn’t return home. After hours of searching, Mark found her at the local hospital. The details are not 100% clear as to what happened but we believe she fell and someone called 911. When the ambulance arrived she then had a seizure on the way to the hospital. They don’t believe that she had one before that or any since then. They needed to intubate her and did an MRI. On Wednesday, they tried to extubate her but she wasn’t responding to commands. This morning (Thursday), she woke up and they were able to take the tube out. She is now awake and talking. She does not remember anything from the walk and she is doing much better. Her mom is on her way out now to be with her. Continue to send her positive thoughts and love as she continues her fight! We love you, Jen!
