Jen is much improved from where she was. She drank some liquids and ate a little food (sort of, but her appetite seems to be coming back), and she’s more alert than previous days. We finally got her up and to the bathroom (twice), and she shuffled her way back to the bed.

She still has a tough time with more complex discussion, to be expected. Her scrapes and bruises (from the fall) are healing, and swelling has gone down noticeably.

Of course, she really wants to go home today (now!), but the doctor felt there’s no rush and wants to be sure she’ll do ok at home. Mark and Suz are splitting time visiting her and planning for her return, however that might look.

Expecting discharge either later tonight or early tomorrow sometime.
