Thank you former co-workers…

We arrived in PA on Thursday. So far lots of visitors- family, friends, and nurses. The last nurse just left and the assigned a nurse that isn’t coming back until next week. It will be nice to have a permanent nurse visiting.

The weather has been nice so far. Along with the humidity dropping. Day 1 we had to go to the grocery store and fill up on things for the house. On Day 2 we had family visitors for dinner. It was nice to have them here.

Also, it was great to get a gift card from my former co-workers. Thanks Nancy for organizing it and collecting the money. I can’t wait to spend it! I’ve got my eye on a pair of sunglasses that I might buy.

I’ll be making a trip to the mail I’m sure!!

  1. Good morning Jen – Always happy to hear from you. Sounds like you have been very busy and need some down time. Again, it’s been pretty nice weather, take advantage of it. As always, thinking about you and praying for you. Give my best to Mark. Love you, Jen – Martie

    1. Hi Martie. How are you doing? It’s nice to hear from you again. We are having a nice relaxing time. Not sure what the plans are but I’m assuming we will be here until the end of the month.

  3. Hey Jen, I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends in PA. Miss working with you and the awesome
C2 crew. You were such a mentor for me in my early nursing days. Sending love to you and your family. Glad you have plans for some new sunglasses and will put the gift card to good use 🙂 Hugs, Stacy

  4. Hey Jen,
I wanted to let you know how much of a difference you made in my chemo/radiation experience. You probably don’t remember but you took me (and Lynne) through the areas and told me what to expect. It made me so much more prepared for the first chemo treatment. I don’t think I ever thanked you…we’ll THANK YOU! Thank you for being a beautiful soul and for sharing it with the rest of us.
And thank you for sharing your journey.
Sending lots of hugs and prayers
